Ductwork Fittings — Every Bend, Tee and Transition, Made to Order

Straight duct is easy — it's the fittings that make a system work. Every change of direction, size or shape needs a properly made bend, reducer, tee or transition, and a badly made fitting costs you pressure, airflow and noise for the life of the building.

We fabricate the complete range of rectangular and circular ductwork fittings in-house, to the same DW144 standard as our duct. Order fittings alone to extend an existing system, or as part of a complete made-to-measure run — there's no minimum order.

Ductwork bends and elbows

We fabricate rectangular radius bends and square elbows at 90° and 45°, and pressed or segmented circular bends for spiral systems — each made to your duct size so the bend matches the run either side of it.

Reducers, tapers and transitions

We make concentric and eccentric rectangular reducers, circular cones and concentric reducers, and rectangular-to-round transitions for joining flat-sided trunking to spiral distribution.

Tees, Y-pieces and branch fittings

The range covers rectangular T-pieces and shoes, circular equal tees and Y-pieces, plus spigots and saddles for tapping into existing duct.

Plenums, offsets and ancillaries

Plenum and grille boxes, offsets (S-pieces), end caps, cravats, loose Mez frames, mesh bird beaks and louvres. If a drawing calls for it, we can fabricate it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order ductwork fittings without ordering duct?

Yes — fittings can be ordered on their own with no minimum order. Many customers use us to make the odd bend, reducer or transition that a stockist can't supply in the right size.

Will your fittings connect to my existing ductwork?

Yes, provided you tell us the duct sizes and connection type (Mez flange, slip joint or raw edge). Because everything is made to order, we match your existing system rather than forcing you to adapt to stock sizes.

What's the difference between a radius bend and a square elbow?

A radius bend turns the air on a curve, keeping resistance and noise low — the default choice where space allows. A square elbow turns in a much smaller footprint and is used where the void is too tight for a radius; turning vanes can be fitted to recover some of the aerodynamic loss.

Are your fittings made to DW144?

Yes. Every fitting uses the correct gauge galvanised steel for its size, with seams sealed in oil-based mastic and construction to the DW144 specification — the same standard as our straight duct.
