Where spiral beats rectangular
For long straight distribution runs — warehouse heating, factory extract, retail supply air — spiral is almost always the better choice: lighter, stiffer, cheaper per metre of airflow and far quicker to install. Where ceiling space is tight we'll mix systems, manufacturing the rectangular-to-round transitions too.

Why is spiral duct considered lower leakage?
The spiral lock seam is formed continuously by machine rather than assembled by hand, producing a consistently tight joint along the whole tube. Combined with fewer transverse joints per run, circular systems typically achieve better airtightness classes than equivalent rectangular runs.
Can spiral ductwork be left exposed?
Yes — exposed spiral is a popular architectural choice in offices, restaurants and retail. Our galvanised finish is clean and consistent, and we can advise on supports and jointing for runs that will be on show.
Do you supply the fittings as well as the tube?
Yes. Bends, tees, Y-pieces, reducers, cones, saddles, spigots and end caps are all manufactured in-house to match our spiral tube, so the whole system arrives compatible from one source.
